The construction standard (trial) for dust pollution prevention and control for premixed concrete production in Anhui Province (hereinafter referred to as the Standard), jointly compiled by ACEG, Anhui Provincial Department of Ecological Environment and Anhui Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-rural Development, was issued days ago in Hefei, the Capital City of east China`s Anhui Province.
Under the leadership of the provincial department of ecological environment and the provincial department of housing and urban-rural development over the past year, ACEG has investigated and surveyed the experience and practices of dust pollution prevention and control by Central China`s Henan Province and then a overall plan was worked out and the compilation of the standard has been actively carried out. The contents of the standard have been fully discussed and repeatedly revised and four expert review meetings were held successively before the final version of the standard came into being.
The Standard has fully featured the characteristics of the engineering construction production and industry management requirements in the Province, thus effect evaluation and relevant provisions on dust pollution prevention and control for premix concrete production and dust pollution prevention and control on construction sites were made, and it has been fully recognized by the leaders of related provincial departments
On April 9, Anhui Provincial Department of Ecological Environment and Anhui Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-rural Development, organized a work conference on further deployment of the implementation of the standard.
The publication of this Standard is an effort to further implement the State Council`s 3-year Action Plan for Winning the Battle Protecting the Blue Sky and the provincial party committee and government''s plan for pollution prevention and control. It provides the guiding standard for the prevention and control of dust pollution from construction projects and production of ready-mixed concrete, that have further strengthened the dust pollution prevention and control works and upgraded civilized construction management levels in construction sites and it is a touchstone of great significance to the sustainable development of ecological environments.
