The conference to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Luban Prize establishment and exchange experience for making quality project for the year 2016-2017 was held by China Construction Industry Association on November 6 2017.Two projects completed by ACEG, namely Anhui Urban-Rural Planning and Development Building co-constructed by Anhui No.1 Construction Engineering Co.,Ltd and Ma’anshan Highway Bridge on Yangtze River co-constructed by Anhui Highway and Port Engineering Co.,Ltd were awarded Luban Prizes for construction project (national quality project) for the year 2016-2017. ACEG has been awarded 15 Luban Prizes since its establishment in 1987. ACEG received the honor of Outstanding Enterprise for Winning Luban Prize at the conference, which embodied the leading and demonstration role played by large-scale state-owned general contractor and ACEG’s business concept of Integrity, Innovation, Quality and Win-win.
Luban Prize for construction project (national quality project) administered by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, organized and evaluated by China Construction Industry Association was evaluated annually and awarded every two years. It is the most authoritative and highest award in Chinese construction industry to evaluate project quality, which displays enterprise’s comprehensive capability of innovation, technology, administration, construction, equipment, plays role of leading and demonstration for the construction industry and is widely recognized by the whole industry and society.
Anhui Urban-Rural Planning and Development Building is the first project in Anhui province to get the three-star green building design label awarded by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. It also acquires the honors of “green construction demonstration project”, “new technology application demonstration project” etc. It applies the new technologies of SRC stiffness column, large diameter high-strength prestressed pipe pile and two-way ribbed slab floor GBF honeycomb core. As the national key project, Ma’anshan Highway Bridge on Yangtze River has a distance of 36.274 kilometers with the bridge on Yangtze River spanning 11.209 kilometers.The design of three-tower and two-span suspension bridge and three arch-shape tower cable-stayed bridge represents the top level worldwide and the scale of main span and steel concrete composite tower ranks first among the similar bridges worldwide.
